Charlesbank is led by our nine managing directors, who began working together in 1991. In forming Charlesbank, the partners saw the opportunity to create an investment firm with the highest standards of integrity, personal commitment and professional investment performance. Over the years, no partner has left Charlesbank, and our investment staff has both deepened in experience and grown in number. As generalists, we are enriched by the broad industry experience and diverse backgrounds our staff bring to the investment table, and as a group we are grounded in a common dedication to our firm, our limited partners and our management teams.
   
 

 

David Adelman
Associate

David joined Charlesbank in 2007 from Bain & Company, where he was a senior associate consultant in the private equity and general practice areas. At Bain, he served clients in the US, Australia and India, working on projects in the aerospace and defense, telecom, financial services and media sectors.

David received his BA in government, cum laude, from Harvard.

Raised in a variety of cities in the US and Israel, David continues to enjoy traveling and seeking out new adventures. When he’s not in the office, he can also be found golfing, running, snowboarding or quietly cheering for the Yankees.
