Charlesbank Capital Partners Announces New Managing Directors, Vice President

Charlesbank Capital Partners is pleased to announce the election of Samuel P. Bartlett and Joshua A. Klevens as Managing Directors of the firm. Previously Vice Presidents, they join the eight current Managing Directors of Charlesbank in managing the firm and its affiliated investment funds. In addition, Joshua N. Beer, formerly a Senior Associate, has been promoted to Vice President.

Mr. Bartlett joined Charlesbank in 1999 from Bain & Company. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Amherst College, with a BA in history. Mr. Bartlett serves on the boards of Aurora Organic Dairy, Horn Industrial Services and Southcross Energy. He is currently a resident of Winchester, MA.

Mr. Klevens joined Charlesbank in 2005 from Bain Capital Partners. He is a cum laude graduate of Princeton University, with a BA from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs. He also holds an MBA from Stanford University. Mr. Klevens serves on the boards of Tecomet, TLC Vision and WorldStrides. He is a resident of Newton, MA.

Of the new managing directors, Michael Eisenson, Managing Director and CEO of Charlesbank, said, “Sam and Josh have been instrumental in helping us create attractive new investments and in actively working with our portfolio companies to help them grow and prosper. Mr. Beer joined Charlesbank in 2003 from Bain & Company. After completing Charlesbank’s associate program in 2006, he left to pursue his MBA at the Wharton School. He rejoined the firm in 2008. Mr. Beer also received his BA in economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a resident of Brookline, MA.
