Mark Anderson is named President of United Road Services in addition to his role as Chief Operating Officer, a position he has held since joining the company in January 2014. Mark has over 25 years of professional experience leading several multi-dimensional businesses with significant logistics components, including car haul, solid waste collection, fuel distribution and OEM plant services, among others.
After starting his career as a CPA, Mark transitioned to operations, becoming COO and CEO for different transportation-related businesses. “I have great confidence in Mark’s ability to work with our exceptional team in growing our business. I trust him and know that his energy and dedication to our people, our customers and our company will serve us all well,” said Kathleen McCann, United Road’s CEO.
As McCann passes the presidency to Anderson, she also will assume the position of Chairman of the United Road’s Board of Directors. She replaces Michael Eisenson, Managing Director and CEO of Charlesbank Capital Partners, the Company’s majority shareholder. “The board is delighted to appoint Kathleen as Chairman. McCann joined United Road in early 2011 as its president and was named CEO in June 2012. The company has nearly doubled in size in that time, growing both organically and through acquisitions.
