Citadel Plastics is a leading provider of custom-material solutions including both thermoplastic and engineered composites products. Citadel’s end markets include automotive, electrical, construction, HVAC, home & garden, appliance and energy. Formed in 2007, the company was built through a series of cornerstone and tuck-in acquisitions. Citadel operated 21 facilities on four continents and offered more than 2,400 products at the time of our exit in 2015, when we sold the company to a large strategic acquirer.
