Catlin is a specialty-lines commercial insurer and reinsurer headquartered in Bermuda with a network of underwriting platforms worldwide. The company began as a syndicate on Lloyds, went public in April 2004 and is currently traded on the London Stock Exchange (Ticker: CGL.L). In December 2006, Catlin acquired Wellington Underwriting, creating the largest underwriter operating on the Lloyd’s market. We sold our shares in a series of sales, exiting in 2011.
