Founded in 1967, WorldStrides is the leading provider of supplemental educational and student travel courses in the US and abroad. At the time of our investment, the company offered programs to more than 200,000 middle and high-school students in all 50 states. Through a series of strategic acquisitions, WorldStrides has expanded its reach and today serves more than 400,000 students from middle school through graduate school in 100 countries. We largely exited the investment through a sale to a financial buyer in 2011.
