Matthew J. Jacobson

Matt joined Charlesbank in 2016 to focus on the firm’s opportunistic credit investing. He joined the firm from Palmer Square Capital Management, a credit asset manager, where he was an executive director. Prior to that, he held a similar role at Nomura Securities, and also worked at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers.
Matt lives in New Jersey with his wife and three children. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and Peloton. He also serves as the chair of the board of Possibilities Africa.
