Michael Choe

Managing Partner Emeritus

Mike joined Harvard Private Capital Group, the predecessor to Charlesbank, in 1997, focusing on investments across the Business & Consumer Services and Technology sectors. He led the firm for 12 years as President and then CEO and currently serves as Managing Parter Emeritus. Mike began his career at McKinsey & Co., where he focused on corporate strategy work.

Personal

Mike serves on the Board of Governors of Partners in Health and the Board of Trustees of Nativity Preparatory School of Boston. He lived in Seoul, Korea, before moving to Boston to attend university. Today he lives with his wife and two children in Boston. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, hiking and other outdoor activities with his family.
