Paul Gee

Director, Information Security and Compliance

Paul leads the information security program at Charlesbank, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the firm’s data while enabling secure business operations and regulatory compliance.

Paul is an information security practitioner with over 20 years of experience. Before joining Charlesbank in 2026, he held senior leadership roles at several firms in the financial industry. He most recently spent four years as Senior Manager, Information Security at Advent International. Prior to that, he spent several years as Group Manager/Principal Information Security Engineer at The Baupost Group, and earlier in his career he worked as an Information Security Architect at MFS Investment Management.

Personal

Paul lives in the suburbs west of Boston with his wife and two kids. In his rare moments of spare time, you'll catch him mountain biking, spinning retrowave sets at home, attempting to become a BBQ pitmaster or swinging kettlebells and maces.
