Danielle C. Lachman

Advisory Director

Danielle was engaged as an advisory director at Charlesbank in 2022. She brings deep experience in business transformation, working with portfolio companies to identify and execute value-creation opportunities. As a generalist, she partners with the leadership team across a wide range of topics, including capability building, strategic sourcing, identifying and capitalizing on profit pools, and sales force effectiveness. Prior to Charlesbank, she worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a partner in the transformation and turnaround unit. Previously Danielle spent nine years at Staples, where she held various B2B leadership roles, including driving the company’s customer-centric transformation for its North American delivery business as vice president, transformation strategy. Before that, she held various merchandising roles at Target, including leading the $2 billion perishables and food service division, then the fastest-growing division at Target. She began her career at BCG, where she was a principal, project leader and consultant working with consumer-oriented clients.

A native of Villanova, PA, Danielle currently lives in Sudbury, MA, with her husband. They have two grown sons. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys traveling and engaging in outdoor activities (especially hiking and gardening).
