Mauricio Velasco

Mauricio joined Charlesbank in 2023, after graduating from business school. Previously, he worked as a senior associate at H.I.G. Capital, focusing on technology services and business services, and then worked in an operating role at ECI, an IT managed services provider. Mauricio started his career as an investment banking analyst at Wells Fargo Securities and Houlihan Lokey.
Raised in Dallas, Mauricio now lives with his wife and two boys in Boston. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and watching the English Premier league, as an avid Everton supporter.
