Cyberbit is a leading global provider of cyber range training and simulation platforms for cybersecurity professionals. Cyberbit’s software creates the environment of a virtual security operations center (called a cyber range) that cybersecurity professionals use to train against hyper-realistic simulated attacks, thereby improving their capabilities to respond to real-world situations. Cyberbit was founded as the cybersecurity division of Elbit Systems, an international high-technology company engaged in a wide range of defense, homeland security and commercial programs throughout the world. Originally developed exclusively for the Israeli Defense Force, in recent years the cyber range product was commercialized and sold more broadly. Today, Cyberbit’s software is used by leading enterprises, government agencies, educational institutions and managed service providers across the globe for mission-critical cybersecurity training and simulation.

Charlesbank Investment

Charlesbank’s Technology Opportunities Fund invested $70 million in Cyberbit in May 2020. Charlesbank now holds a controlling ownership position in the company, while Elbit Systems will retain minority ownership.
