In 2010, Charlesbank acquired TLC Vision, guiding the company out of the bankruptcy process and helping it emerge as a newly reorganized, private company. TLC was later split into two separate companies – TLC Laser Eye Centers and Sightpath Medical. Charlesbank sold the final division Sightpath Medical in 2022.
