Charlesbank’s Jesse Ge and Mutian Rui Named to GrowthCap’s “Top 40 Under 40 Investors of 2025”

Boston, MA – January 7, 2026 – Charlesbank Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Jesse Ge and Mutian Rui, both Principals on the firm’s Flagship investment team, have been named to GrowthCap’s “Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors of 2025.” The annual recognition highlights emerging leaders in growth investing who have demonstrated outstanding investment judgment, leadership and partnership with management teams.

Jesse Ge joined Charlesbank in 2017. During his tenure, he has become an integral leader of the firm’s consumer investing efforts, driving a full reset for the sector strategy. He has also directed multi-year thematic efforts for business development and has been deeply involved in business-building alongside management teams, including developing organic growth initiatives, recruiting talent and executing M&A.

Since joining the firm in 2016, Mutian Rui has taken on increasing levels of leadership and today spearheads the firm’s investment efforts around professional services and tech-enabled services. He has played a central role in sourcing, building and scaling multiple platform investments and works closely with management teams to set strategic priorities, strengthen organizational capabilities and build long-term, sustainable businesses.
