Mutian is an investor in our Private Equity team, and specializes in professional services and tech-enabled services.
Mutian joined Charlesbank in 2016 from McKinsey & Company, and is a member of the Business & Consumer Services sector team. In 2025, Mutian was named to GrowthCap's "40 Under 40 Growth Investors" list, in recognition of his collaborative and partnership-oriented approach to working with founders and management teams.

Personal
An Ohio native, Mutian lives in Boston with his wife and two boys. He enjoys spending time with family and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
